On 4 June 2020, there was information that  Wanchalearm Satsaksit a Thai activist who seek asylum in Cambodia was apprehended by group of men from in front of his condominium in Phanom Penh, Cambodia. On 8 June 2020, group of Thai activists gathered in front of Cambodia Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand to demand Cambodian Government to investigate fact on this case. If Wanchalearm is still alive the Cambodian Government should bring him back to safety, if he had pass away his remain should be return to his family.
 
Activity on 8 June 2020 went peacefully while the Cambodian Embassy had its representative went out to receive letter from the activists. After the date there were at least 6 activists who were summoned to acknowledge accusation for defied regulation under Emergency Decree.
