Phayorm Rattanamanee, a researcher who conducted a research on a production of artificial reef felt that Kampol's status was harmful to his reputation. Phayorm then filed a defamation and a Computer-related Crime Charge against Kampol before the Nakhon Sri Thammarat Provincial Court.
