19 September 2021 marked the 15th anniversary of the 19 September 2006 coup d'état, on the date a group of protesters gathered at the Democracy Monument. After the protest concluded around 7 pm some independent protesters went to gather at the Nangloeng Intersection on the direction toward  Chamai Maruchet Bridge. The police set up blockade and used tear gas against those independent protesters. During that time fire were set at the King's portriat on fly over in front of Ratwinit School and the Traffic Police Booth at the Nangloeng intersection. Later, on 7 October 2021 "Bung" a member of activist group called Talu Fah was summoned to acknowledge accusation at Nangloeng Police Station. The police did not request the court to detain "Bung" during the investigation phase.         

On 7 July 2022, Pornchai Yuanyee or Sam another member of Talu Fah went meet with police on his personal matter, he found out at that time that he had arrest warrant pending in the system. The police then hold Pornchai for a night before brought him to the court on 8 July 2022 to place him under the court custody. The court approved police's remand petition and dismiss Pornchai bail petition. Pornchai had been remanded under the court custody at the Bangkok Remand Prison since 8 July 2022. Even the lawyer had filed bail petition several times afterward but the court alway dismissed the petition.   


Apart from "Bung" and Pornchai, Sinburi or Max another activist of Talufah was also detained for taken part in the same incident. He was accused to set fire on the traffic police booth at the Nangloeng Intersection. Sinburi awared that he had warrant in the system on 8 July 2022, he went to report to the police in the same date to show his sincere but the police decided to hold him for a night before brought him to the court on 9 July to request the court to remand him pending for an investigation. The court approved the police's petition and dismissed his bail petition. Sinburi was remanded since 9 July. Since Sinburi's allegation was not involve with the King's portriat he was not charge with Lèse-majesté.   

Apart from the three alleged offenders there was information that Jitrin Plakantong or Karim another activist of Talu Fah was also listed to be prosecute in this case but until 31 August 2022 he has not been officialy notify with accusation.
