Parinya Cheewinkulpathom also known as Port Faiyen allegedly posted 3 posts that were deemed to be Lese Majeste offense between april to july 2016. After the 2014 coup, he legally traveled to Laos and was in Vientiane for seven years. Due to his health condition he decided to go back to Bangkok. On 5 march 2021, He was arrested by the police while he was eating lunch at his home. The police asked the Criminal Court to hold him in custody. The court ruled to accept the police’s request and refused to release him on bail three times. However, on the fourth time, the court decided to release him with bail conditions.
