Somlak, an environmental activist, posted on her Facebook account a picture with caption saying 'It was very dangerous to hurry greedy operate. The ridge of cyanide sump of 1,400 rai has no axis. This is very fragile. It is only 400-500 meter from the temple and school." The message implicate to the mining operation of the Akara Resources Company. The company therefore submitted a case under Computer Crime Act Section 14(1), 14(2) and Environmental Conservation Act Section 101 against Somluck. The Pichit Provincial Court accepted the case and schedule to examine witnesses in 2017.
