Woraphop was gathering in the "Eating Mac against the coup" activity at Ratchaprasong on 25 May 2014. He was arrested while he was shopping at Central World mall and was taken to Crime Suppression Division for 7 days.  On 25 May 2014, Woraphop attended the anti-the coup d’etat protest at McDonalds in the Amarin Plaza Mall, Lumpini subsidtrict, Pathum Wan district, Bangkok. On that day, the protestors expressed the symbol of anti-the coup d’etat protest such as “eating McDonalds to anti the coup” set up by the Red Sunday Group. Some of the protestors showed the papers expressing anti-the coup d’etat messages and signs, and clamoured against the military that “The military get out”, etc.

Circumstance of Arrest

Woraphop was arrested by the plainclothes policemen on 31 May 2014, while he was shopping in the Central World Mall. Woraphop did not resist, the plainclothes policemen sent him to the military waiting behind the mall, he was sent to the Army Club Wiphawadee road for an investigation for around 3 hours. After that, as a temporary detention, he was detained at the crime suppression division.
