The court’s verdict sentenced Mr. Wanchai for 10-year imprisonment. Due to his confession, the court then reduced the jail term by half, and the imprisonment remains for 5 years on this case.

After sentenced for 4 years since 2009, Wanchai T. was granted the royal pardon and was released at 2.20 P.M. onJune 4, 2013. Assistant Professor Dr. Suda Rangkupan, acting on behalf of  the members of Street Justice and member of Ratchadamnoen webord, pantip.com, came to support and gave him financial assistance. As soon as Wanchai was released, he was taken into custody to Dusit police station and transferred to the Immigration for temporary detention while Singapore Embassy prepared  documents for his departure.
